Watermelon Time: Jason & Marcie are working on finding a dte for when Jason & Emily can bring all WMT decorations and props to the church basement to set them out, look them over, and decide what else we need. Outreach: All Garden Lover mail-flyers have gone out via USPS. Email outreach to Garden Lovers should start soon. Lisa would like to help Rich with email outreach. Design: Kaithlyn & Linda both like the idea of non-traditional outer shape. However, all rental raised beds must remain standard 4' x 10' size. Chris is working on shapes and layouts. Rentals: Kaitlyn says we don't want to accept payments until the winter/spring before the season we're ready to garden for, otherwise people drop off, loose interest, etc. This will make it easier on our end to eliminate the need to issue refunds. Gardeners will fill out an application (VINES Garden Rental Guidelines) send their payment to VINES. VINES logs all applications in a google sheet where all site coordinators have access to see the contact information of their gardener. Land Transfer: State AG has asked TLC to provide additional information, which seems like a good sign. Darryl is working with lawyer to provide that ASAP. Water: Kevin Pero at Endicott Municipal Water Department told Jason that they plan to dig the trench and lay the pipe "next week." Next Meeting:
Wednesday, August 1, 4:00pm at TLC. VERY IMPORTANT!
